Tabloid KAP 2

The Tabloid KAP 2 is the second collaboration between KAP Company and graphic artist Ehsan Morshed, uniting wearable apparel and print publication into a single KAP. The project continues Morshed’s ongoing work with found graphics, print debris, and dislocated material sourced from flea markets and estate liquidations. This piece features a complex, doubled material construction of blue cotton tartan overlaid on a sturdy cotton twill base with edges left raw Detailed with high-density "COSMOPOLITAN ESTATE" embroidery on the crown and a "WELCOME HOME" on the reverse. Included in the shipment is the second edition of the O MANKIND! GALLOP OFF! tabloid featuring new collage works by Morshed and a series of texts by:

Materiality: Blue Cotton Tartan overlaid on 100% Cotton Twill with a frayed, lived-in finish.
Construction: Unstructured six-panel crown with signature unenforced front panels.
Hardware: Proprietary 3mm stainless steel SimCard™ strap buckle.
Ornamentation: "COSMOPOLITAN ESTATE" crown embroidery and "WELCOME HOME" on the reverse.
